The Asaro famil has been producing this award-winning olive oil in Partanna, Sicily since 1916. 2 Gold medals and best of class at the Los Angeles County Fair.
This single variety olive oil, is obtained only from the Nocellara del Belice olives, from the Province of Trapini in Sicily. The Nocellara del Belice olives gives the oil a very rich aromatic profile, with hints of artichoke and almond with a peppery finish.
Filtered extra virgin olive oil, produced only in October. Very low acidity (around 0.3%).
A very versatile oil which can be used as a condiment, for dipping and also for cooking.
